Jacqui is one of the founders of and a director at Extremus Dog Training Ltd with over 30+ years in working and training a wide variety of both pet and working breeds. She currently owns Dutch Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Cockers Spaniels, Bavarian Mountain Hounds and French Bulldogs, training them for various activities including tracking, detection work and obedience.

Jacqui works daily with clients on a one to one basis in both behavioural and obedience assessments, and devises training plans with ongoing support, giving clients the confidence to re establish a strong understanding of their dogs and promote a healthy relationship through effective communication, management and control in a fair and rewarding way. Promoting a better understanding of how your dogs perceives things is the cornerstone in changing the dynamics of the owner/dog relationship.

Winning the SME award 2022 for best residential dog training course specialists was an exceptionally proud achievement for all the hard work and dedication to improving both owner and dog relationships around the UK.

Jacqui is also a founder and director of Dogs4Wildlife, an NGO that trains operational dogs in detection and tracking, which is a large passion of hers. With 14 dogs deployed to date across Sub-Saharan Africa, alongside working with veterinarian canine programmes to promote higher welfare standards across Zimbabwe.

As a qualified teacher at my local college; Coleg Sir Gar in Carmarthen, she teaches both practical and theoretical lessons on canine behaviour, welfare and psychology to level 1,2 and 3 students. This allows her to give insight into the holistic approach to dog behaviour and training, and the importance of responsible dog ownership.
