Neil, or “The Dogzbody” as he’s known, has 40+ years of dog handling and training experience. His experiences began with his family dogs at the age of 7 years and have continued through both his Military and Civilian careers. Neil has trained dogs and handlers all over the world in some very challenging environments and also acts as a consultant on the establishment of canine care programs, training programs and kennel design alongside his dog training activities.
His methodology is a sophisticated mix of Balanced Reinforcement, Operant and Classical conditioning with Marker Training techniques and the use of body language, that he has developed over the last 15 years targeted specifically at companion dogs enabling them to fit better into our communities. His techniques aim to make every dog “the best dog it can be”. The “Dogzbody method” as its known is an up to date mix of tried, tested and the latest learnings about canine behavior.
Neil believes that until a “Platform of Communication (PoC)” is established with a dog you cannot train new or modify old behaviors, so The “Dogzbody Methodology” always addresses this as a first step on the journey in his training programs.
Neil’s classes are conducted in 1-1 sessions or in small groups maximum 3 dogs and their Handlers. If you are looking to train your new puppy or correct more complex behavior issue, Neil is always there beside you, wanting to be “your trainer for life”.
Neil also runs an online academy “The Dogzbody Academy” and conducts online training where appropriate.
