- Providing leadership to the GoDT members by personal example of work and standards
- Working with the directors and team to promote the Guild at all opportunities
- Representing the GoDT at meetings and events (E.G. Crufts)
- Planning and future development with GoDT team
- Motivating all GoDT members involved
- Ensuring the GoDT focuses on its key tasks in the canine world and keeps fully abreast of changes in the industry at government and national level
- Supporting the GoDT in a competitive industry

- Taking responsibility for the composition and development of the organisation
- Ensuring proper information for organisations we deal with and communications promptly and professionally
- Leading the team by motivating and inspiring ideas and actions
- Overseeing the induction and development of education standards
- Supporting the GoDT in a competitive industry
- Mechanise procurement management
Judy Cooper
Head of Public Relations (PR) Judy Cooper MA MGoDT
- Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, and tactics
- Develop a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
- Coordinate all public relations activities
- Assist social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media (Facebook, Instagram, Linked-In etc)
- Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and animal industry
- Manage media inquiries and interview requests
John Ashford
Executive Project Manager: John Ashford External advisor
- Create and deliver GoDT project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Work to promote the Guild and the Distance Learning Courses along with the Education Course Manager
- Manage GoDT operational aspects of new ideas.
- Ensures GoDT project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
- Works closely with relevant canine associations to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the GoDT policy’s
- Understands basic revenue GoDT financial objectives by forecasting requirements/ budget Crufts is an example.
Lisa Cox
Accounts and Events Manager and Administration Team Leader: L. T. Cox MGoDT
- Any issues which arise around office resource or administrative points, you will more than likely take ownership of and deal with the situation.
- Making sure that membership applications are forwarded to the Chairwoman.
Maura Kiely
Communications Officer and Administration Maura Kiely MGoDT

- Communications Administration Team leader. Any complaint directly sent to the correct official before being responded to.
- Ensuring proper information for members is circulated promptly and professionally
- Administration / Office Duties to support the day to day running of the organisation.
David Drew
Education Course Development Manager David Drew MGoDT MCFBA
- providing leadership to the GoDT members by personal example of work and standards
- working with the directors and team to promote the Guild and the Education Courses
- taking responsibility for the composition, development and promotion of the Education Courses
- ensuring proper information and rules for GoDT Tutors is circulated promptly and professionally
- motivating all GoDT members to be involved in the promotion of the Education Courses
- engaging members and utilising the website and social media for GoDT and Course promotion
- Managing Tutors responsibilities.
