Courtney has worked with and alongside dogs throughout his working life, with both military and civil Police experience.
He has trained and worked with general patrol dogs, tactical firearms dogs, and both explosive and drug search dogs. He was selected as a Home Office Approved Instructor in his role as Police Dog Handler.

Dogs have always been, and continue to be a passion for him, and he has assisted with the training of search and rescue dogs, competed in working dog trials, and currently assesses dogs that are used as therapy dogs within both the CAMHS, and Veteran Crisis Intervention teams of the Lincs NHS Trust.

For many years he has provided assistance to several national dog rescues, with advice and practical support with dog behavioural issues.
Courtney works on a 1-2-1 basis with his clients, providing individual attention, leading to a tailor made package to enable owner and dog to harmonise their relationship.
