Jackie – The Fun Dog Coach

Jackie is the Fun Dog Coach at Poochadise Canine Services and the Owner of its sister company, Super Nova’s Dog Academy. Her journey working with dogs began at just 12 years old, when she volunteered with Lincolnshire, Essex & Trent Boxer Rescue, assisting with fundraising, kennel care, and administration.

In 2022, Nova (pictured) came to live with Jackie — a fiery whirlwind who had already been through four homes by the time she was one. Despite her energy and zest for life, Nova struggled with anxiety from her unsettled past, giving Jackie first-hand experience of the challenges faced by many owners. Together, Jackie and Nova have built an unshakable bond and share a love for hiking and exploring the hills and beaches of Dorset.

In 2023, Jackie began attending Agility classes with Poochadise and soon ventured into Flyball. She immediately connected with the energy, joy, and positivity of each session — and it marked the beginning of a new chapter. Kat shared Jackie’s vision of fun, relationship-focused, and confidence-building dog training, and her knowledge and encouragement inspired Jackie to pursue her dream of becoming a Dog Coach.

With Kat’s support, Jackie has spent countless hours learning, shadowing, and studying to develop her skills. Today, she is a proud member of the Poochadise Team, helping others build strong, joyful relationships with their dogs through games-based training and confidence-building adventures.
