Established in 1993, Phil runs a dog training school / pet club which operates from several venues in the Solihull area within the West Midlands region. The club incorporates obedience, fun agility, working trials, and the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers Bronze, Silver and Gold classes. He also runs course for handlers who aspire to become Instructors.

Apart from the club, Phil is always available to advise on the more problematic issues which are difficult to address in a class situation. Having worked with all breeds of dogs over the years, Phil has built a reputation for being able to help handlers with dog aggression problems.

He qualified as an Instructor with the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers 25 years ago and has further expanded his knowledge over this period by attending numerous seminars, lectures, and courses, held by some of the greats in the dog training world.

His involvement with dogs’ spans over 35 years, and he has worked his own dogs, (many of them rescues) Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Border Collies, Dobermans, to name but a few, in obedience, working trials and agility.
