Since 2021, Reuben has volunteered as a trainer with Cosford Dog Training, assisting with both group classes and individual sessions.

Reuben regularly helps lead up to three classes a day, with as many as 10 dogs per class and also provides tailored one-to-one support for clients each week. This role has given him extensive hands-on experience with a wide variety of breeds and personalities, from confident and high energy dogs to those who are more timid or anxious.

In addition to his volunteer work, Reuben trained his own dog, Simba, a four-and-a-half-year-old Dutch herder x German Shepherd for fun competitions. Together they practice exercise exercises such as clear jump, long jump, off lead heelwork, scale and the send away plus many more!
