Tatiana Iseborn Young
Tatiana has been training pet dogs for over 30 years and competing with her own dogs in obedience. Her practical dog training skills are supported by decades of academic study in animal behaviour, including canine behaviour and professional training courses through the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training (CIDBT).
She focuses on positive reinforcement techniques and leadership to achieve lasting behavioural change. Her goal is to empower you with the skills and knowledge to build a happy, well-balanced relationship with your dog. From puppies to older dogs, she offers personalised dog training programmes that fit both your lifestyle and your dog's individual temperament.
Whether you're bringing home a new puppy or adopting a rescue dog, Tatiana will guide you at every stage — from choosing the right dog breed to helping your new companion settle into their home. Her one-to-one dog training and hands-on approach ensure that every session is tailored to your dog’s unique behavioural needs, helping them thrive in a family environment.
She has several years of experience in training assistance dogs, as well as conducting temperament assessments and public access tests.
Happy K9 Training and Behaviour offers expert dog behaviour consultations and bespoke one-to-one training for dogs of all ages and breeds. Group classes are also available, from puppy foundation to advanced obedience training. Group sizes are limited to a maximum of six dogs to ensure individual attention, and, whenever the weather allows, sessions are held in a secure outdoor field to provide a realistic training environment.
The centre also offers preparation for the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme tests, as well as scent work training and Hoopers dog sport classes.
